Shri. Jayantibhai Mehta, a pioneering legend of the Indian jewellery industry, made Thakorlal Hiralal the foremost name for jewellery in the 1950's and 60's. His son Mr. Satish Mehta, along with his wife
Mrs. Neera Mehta, established the Mumbai office in the 1970's.
Today, Thakorlal Hiralal is ably helmed by Mr. Pranay Mehta, a fourth generation diamantaire, whose passion and distinctive style continues to inspire and excite the most discerning eye. Our dedication to excellence began with our founder, whose infallible client relationships created a lasting legacy which we continue to uphold and honour decades later.

the group's philanthropic activities are mainly in the field of healthcare.
Under the aegis of the Smt. Maniben Smarak Nidhi Trust, the group runs the largest dialysis center in Asia at the Manjulaben Mehta
Kidney Hospital in Kolkata. The group has long held ties with
Dr. Devi Shetty (Chairperson, Narayan Hrudayalaya Hospitals)
and it is under his supervision that this project is today managed.
A recent landmark initiative by the group is the setting up of a Pediatric Oncology Center in the memory of its late Directors,
Mrs. Neera & Mr. Satish Mehta. This center forms an integral part of the state-of-the-art SRCC Children's Hospital at Worli in Mumbai and aims to become the leading oncology care provider for children in the city.
